With Shettima at the helm Dangote and Bill Gates join the NEC

Among the dignitaries participating in the ongoing National Economic Council, NEC meeting at the Presidential Villa on Wednesday are Aliko Dangote, chairman of the Dangote Foundation, and Bill Gates, chief executive officer of Microsoft.

This meeting, chaired by Vice President Kashim Shettima, will focus on nutrition and health.

Attendees at the gathering include, among others, Borno State governor Babagana Zulum, Bauchi governor Bala Mohammed, Nasarawa state governor Abdullahi Sule, Bayelsa governor Duoye Diri, Ebonyi governor Francis Nwifuru, and Zamfara state governor Lawan Dauda.

The principals’ deputy governors, together with a number of ministers and state commissioners, are also attending.

The recent fuel price increase and the nation’s economic policy are likely to be covered comprehensively during the conference.
