Temilade Openiyi, better known by her stage name Tems, is a Nigerian singer who has spoken out about the pregnancy rumors around her and American rapper Future.
According to Worldoh, Tems caused quite a stir when she was photographed at Burberry’s Spring/Summer 2024 London Fashion Week show in December of last year.
She was dressed in a black dress, a fluffy purple coat, and matching heels; many assumed that the tight fit of the dress indicated that she was expecting a child.
While appearing on a recent edition of ‘The Breakfast Club,’ Tems cast doubt on Future’s credibility, accusing him of being responsible for her purported pregnancy.
She couldn’t help but wonder why the rumor mill hadn’t implicated Wizkid or Drake in her purported pregnancy.
“The most contentious things are taken by the majority. Why am I pregnant with Future? I kept asking myself.
What makes Future special? Her reasoning was that it was the most insane.
“Wizkid? Why not that band?” Drake? Why not? Why didn’t someone else do it? If Drake were involved, the situation would be same; nonetheless, Future’s reputation is the reason behind his selection.
His family has around five children. He is also known for being a gentleman.
The top rap artists who influenced Tems were also named.
Among the artists she named were J. Cole, Lil Wayne, Drake, Ab-Soul, and Kendrick Lamar.
‘Certified Lover Boy,’ an album by Drake, included her in 2021.
Tems’ first album, “Born In The Wild,” came out this year and featured only two artists, J.Cole included.
