Daniel Ogunmodede, head coach of the Remo Stars, expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to be a part of the Super Eagles’ technical staff.
Ogunmodede and Fidelis Ilechukwu, who plays for Rangers, were brought in to accompany caretaker coach Augustine Eguavoen in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Rwanda and Benin Republic.
In the first match, the Super Eagles cruised to a 3-0 victory against the Cheetahs. In the second match, they drew 0-0 with Amavubi.
Prior to the team’s forthcoming match against the Mediterranean Knights of Libya, the youthful strategist urged fans to maintain an optimistic outlook.
