Jeff Stelling, a legend on Sky Sports, has picked the Premier League champions for the current season.
Manchester United and Chelsea will not be participating in the Champions League, according to Stelling.
He has predicted that Arne Slot’s Liverpool will triumph over Manchester City and Arsenal, the two teams who have won the title in the past.
According to Stelling, Newcastle United will finish in the top four.
“I haven’t gone for the title winner you might expect,” Stelling told talkSPORT, adding that he has Arsenal in second place.
In my opinion, Liverpool should be the champions. I know many may ask why I’m ignoring Manchester City, but I simply feel like the club has been underperforming in recent years.
The 115 charges against them also have to be weighing on them. So, my top three picks are Liverpool, Arsenal, and Man City.
Chelsea is out of the top four fight in my opinion, and I don’t think Manchester United have enough depth.
Both Spurs and Aston Villa, assuming they can handle the Champions League, have a shot if [Dominic] Solanke is benched.
“Newcastle, like many other clubs, had a lot of injury problems last year. However, I still believe they have a shot at finishing fourth if they can avoid major setbacks.”
