His justification for dating Chinwe is the benefits he reaps from her, he claims.
Despite Chinwe not being his spec, Zion said in a Thursday talk with fellow housemate Fairme that she treats him better than his specs did.
Zion: “Chinwe is really an adult woman. Because she is the firstborn, her siblings are under her care. Their mother has been tardy, and her father has remarried.
Usually, when I’m with a girl, she has no idea what I do for a career and never asks me what I do for a living. Even if she sends me prayer points, I don’t hear her [Chinwe] pray for me. A prayerful person, she is. These attributes are all there.
When I visit her place, she cooks delicious food—the kind that makes your mouth water. I didn’t want to spend the night at the girl’s house, so she went and cooked so that I would stay the night. No matter what I ask, she always makes it happen. She even gets a cook who occasionally visits and cleans up after herself.
I don’t care if she’s not my typical type; what matters is that she has that homely vibe to her. Dem don’t do this, therefore I come to figure that I don’t do it with my specs too often.
Fairme: “Indeed, it’s a different one. That’s why we stress to women that the most important thing is not how they appear, but rather their character and the way they treat men.
The way you handle a man is important, Zion.
Fairme: “Gen Y has more life experience in all those fields.”
Zion: “All these Gen Z people, I don’t relate to them at all.”
Fairme: “You know what? Some of them are still practical.”
I don’t dey with Gen Z wey don’t get sense, Zion, but some Gen Z do. She may not understand, but she’s under a lot of pressure.
In the middle of her feud with Zion, Chinwe admitted that she had “sponsored” his appearance on the show.
