Posted by On Tuesday night, in the Ewherhe-Agbarho community of Delta State’s Ughelli North Local Government Area, a juju priestess detained two individuals she believed to be kidnappers.
According to Worldoh’s reporting, the juju priestess allegedly tied up the suspects and slashed them with a machete.
Rumor has it that she summoned community officials to her shrine in order to remove the suspects.
The perpetrators, who are believed to be from northern Nigeria, allegedly assaulted the juju priestess’s daughter and burgled the shrine.
But the daughter’s cries for help drew the attention of the juju priestess, who rushed to her aid with a cutlass.
According to Worldoh’s reporting, the culprits were turned over to the Agbarho Police Division by the community leaders.
At the time this story was filed, attempts to obtain comments from SP Bright Edafe, the Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, were unsuccessful.
