Sir Elton John, the legendary British singer, has spoken publicly about his battle with an eye infection.
In an autobiographical declaration, the 77-year-old revealed that due to the infection, he had “limited vision” in one of his eyes.
He spoke clean about how slowly he’s been recovering.
I’ve had to cope with a serious eye infection, and now I can only see partially out of one eye. It may be a while before the affected eye can see clearly again, but I am recuperating, the statement said.
When asked about his progress in healing and recuperation so far, John responded, “feeling positive.”
There was an announcement a few months ago by the septuagenarian that he was retiring from touring.
His farewell tour, which concluded at the beginning of last year, earned $939 million (£749 million) from 328 performances and was the highest-grossing music tour of all time until Taylor Swift’s ‘Eras’ tour ($1 billion) surpassed it.
