On Saturday, Bashir Ahmad, a former media advisor to President Muhammadu Buhari, stated that Nigeria had triumphed in the fight against terrorism.
In Katsina State, Ahmad was responding to the assassination of infamous terrorist commander Sani Wala Burki.
Shortly before, Burki was killed in Katsina State by Nigerian security forces.
In response, the ex-presidential adviser wrote on X that forces must step up their efforts to root out terrorists.
“Delighted to hear that Sani Wala Burki, another infamous terrorist leader, has also been killed in Katsina,” Bashir added. The fight against terror is obviously being won by Nigeria.
“Our farms can be prepared for the next harvest if our soldiers step up their efforts to eliminate them.”
Kachallah was murdered on Thursday in Zamfara State by forces of the Nigerian Army.
The same day, NAF Special Forces also killed Halilu Sububu and his men near the Mayanchi area of the state.
Amidst these efforts, Christopher Musa, the Chief of Defence Staff, had made a commitment to bring down Turji Bello, another infamous bandit.
A few of Nigerian Army Mine Resistance vehicles were purloined by Turji not long ago.
On the other hand, the military said that the vehicles were demobilized because of the tough terrain.
